Q.        I suffered from acid reflux for about two years.  My symptoms got worse whenever I drank tea, ate raw food or pickles.  I don’t want to take all these antacids.  Can you tell me about natural remedies for it?

Q.        Are yeast and parasitic infections sexually transmittable?   Can males get yeast infections too?  How to treat these infections and how long would it take to heal?

A.        Yeast and parasitic infections are sexually transmitted diseases (STD’s).  Sexual partners can infect each other through the exchange of body fluids such as kissing, oral sex and intercourse.  Therefore, if your sexual partner is treated for yeast and parasitic infections, you also need to be treated.

Most people tend to think only females get yeast infections such as vaginal yeast infection, yellowish discharge, and painful sex.  Be aware, males are also prone to male yeast infections such as genital rash, sticky semen, and prostatitis.  In addition to genital symptoms, both males and females can have symptoms from head to toe including mind fog, chronic fatigue, allergies, bloating, sugar craving, hypoglycemia, fibromyalgia, fungal toe nails, anal itch, etc.

Luckily, yeast and parasitic infections for male or female are treatable.  How long would it take to heal?  It depends on how toxic you are.  Normally, one year of illness takes at least one month to heal, provided that you take the following three basic steps:

1) Follow the yeast free nutritional program closely

2) Take strong herbal formulas to control the overgrowth of yeasts and parasites

3) Learn to manage stress effectively.

In a previous article, I mentioned that PMS (Pre-menstrual Syndrome) is easily treatable if you follow five drug-free remedies:

Q.        What kinds of fruits can I have for hypoglycemia if I want to stick to yeast-free nutritional program?

A.         There are four kinds of fruits I would recommend if you want to feed your body and not your little enemies (yeasts and parasites): bananas, Fuji apples, pears, and papayas.

Bananas – Eat the banana when it just turns yellow.  Don’t wait until it’s brown and sugary.

Fuji Apples – Fuji apples have less acidity than other fruits.  Furthermore,  yeasts and parasites tend not to like apples.

Pears – Green pears have less fructose than brown pears, so go for the green ones.

Papayas – Mexican papayas tend to be larger – have just one slice per serving.  With Hawaiian papayas, you should be able to have one half each time.

Even though theses four kinds of fruits are recommended, you should have no more than two pieces in a day.  Portion control is important even with the right kinds of food.  Too much fructose will turn into sugar and feed yeasts and parasites in your body.

If you have a tendency to be hypoglycemic, I would recommend Herbal Cocktailand Cleansing-Balance Tea.  One scoop of Herbal Cocktailin a cup of Cleansing-Balance Teacan carry you over for two hours if you don’t have anything healthy to eat.

The real problem Americans face is consuming too many simple carbohydrates.  An average American eats 120 pounds of refined sugar per year.   Sugar is everywhere – in bread, pies, cookies, candies, salad dressings, ketchup, etc.  As I’ve indicated repeatedly in previous articles, sugar feeds the yeasts and parasites in your body and facilitates fermentation.  That’s why your stomach feels bloated, your sinuses are congested, and your mind is foggy after consuming refined sugar.

What is the difference between simple and complex carbohydrates?   Simple carbohydrates such as refined sugar in cookies, candies, ice cream, etc. contain “empty calories.”  Empty calories burn and dissipate quickly.  That’s why you get hungry easily even after you’ve had a meal high in empty calories.   Foods that contain complex carbohydrates include whole grains, fruits, and vegetables.  In order for your body to utilize calories generated by complex carbohydrates, foods have to be properly digested.  The digestion and absorption process of complex carbohydrates is slower than that for simple carbohydrates.  That’s why you don’t get hungry easily or crave more foods when you ingest foods containing complex carbohydrates.

What should you do then to maintain a well-balanced diet and not get lost in the diet jungle?  Follow Dr. J’s yeast-free nutritional program!  My clients call the program “Dr. J’s Eight Commandments.”  These Eight Commandments include no refined sugar, no dairy, no wheat, no yeasts, no alcohol, no caffeine, no nicotine, and no chemicals.  All of the above are favorite foods for yeasts and parasites in your body.  When you indulge in the above items, your enemies — yeasts and parasites — will have a rock ‘n roll party in your body!

Many people tend to catch seasonal flu and colds during the Thanksgiving holiday.  You can prevent this by adopting a healthy lifestyle before, during, and after this major holiday of the year.  The following are some recommendations:

1.    Avoid Overeating

One of the most common “misconducts” during the Thanksgiving holiday is overeating.  Abundance of food is very tempting.  Just remember the discomfort of overstuffing your stomach and go for moderation.  You can taste the food, instead of devouring a large amount of it.  Otherwise, when your stomach is full, you become sleepy and cannot enjoy the true spirit of Thanksgiving with your friends or relatives.

 2.    Stay on Yeast-Free Nutritional Program

4.    Strengthen Your Immunity

In order to correct weight problems, you need to learn to nourish your body and mind on a regular basis.  Staying trim is a lifelong project.  No crash diets, injections, medications, or surgeries can achieve this purpose.  The following natural remedies have been time-tested by many of my clients as the most cost-effective for healthy and safe weight loss:

Q.        I had radiotherapy for my throat cancer.  The treatment burned my throat and I have difficulty swallowing.  I am hungry and thirsty.  I feel very weak.  What would you recommend?  I am residing outside of the U. S., how can I get your products and services?

A.        Obviously you are malnourished and dehydrated.  The most important thing now is to get some nutrients and liquid in your body.  Since you have difficulty swallowing solid foods, I would suggest that you drink our herbal smoothie at least three times a day.

1 cup of rice milk, or soy milk or almond milk

1 cup of purified water
