Q.        Are yeast and parasitic infections sexually transmittable?   Can males get yeast infections too?  How to treat these infections and how long would it take to heal?

A.        Yeast and parasitic infections are sexually transmitted diseases (STD’s).  Sexual partners can infect each other through the exchange of body fluids such as kissing, oral sex and intercourse.  Therefore, if your sexual partner is treated for yeast and parasitic infections, you also need to be treated.

Most people tend to think only females get yeast infections such as vaginal yeast infection, yellowish discharge, and painful sex.  Be aware, males are also prone to male yeast infections such as genital rash, sticky semen, and prostatitis.  In addition to genital symptoms, both males and females can have symptoms from head to toe including mind fog, chronic fatigue, allergies, bloating, sugar craving, hypoglycemia, fibromyalgia, fungal toe nails, anal itch, etc.

Luckily, yeast and parasitic infections for male or female are treatable.  How long would it take to heal?  It depends on how toxic you are.  Normally, one year of illness takes at least one month to heal, provided that you take the following three basic steps:

1) Follow the yeast free nutritional program closely

2) Take strong herbal formulas to control the overgrowth of yeasts and parasites

3) Learn to manage stress effectively.

To learn what to eat and what to avoid, follow my yeast-free cookbook, Healthy and Tasty: Dr. J’s Anti-Yeast Cooking. Take Yeast-Para Control and Cleansing-Balance Tea to remove excess yeasts and parasites in your body and cleanse your liver and kidneys.  You may also learn some stress management techniques by reading my book: Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healing.

Because everybody carries different symptoms, you need to let me know what symptoms you have, so that I can give you specific recommendations.   The remedies described above are basic ones.  I usually customize a program based on each individual’s health condition, budget, and commitment level.

Yeast disorders do not just affect women.  It’s equal opportunity for men as well.  Yeast infection or candidiasis symptoms can range from head to toe just the same for both female and male.  No race, ethnicity or nationality is immune to yeast disorders.

Male yeast infections are just as common as female yeast infections.  For female, vaginal yeast infection is a common symptom; while for male, itchy skin rash on the penis is also a very common symptom.  Because yeasts live in the mucous membrane, yeast disorders are sexually transmittable through kissing, intercourse, or any forms of body fluid exchange.  When one of the sexual partners has yeast infection symptoms, s/he will infect the partner, and both partners will give the symptoms back and forth to each other.  Therefore, it’s important for both partners to be treated simultaneously.

The most effective way for treating yeast infections or candidiasis is using a holistic approach including yeast-free nutrition, herbal therapy, stress management, and spiritual counseling.   For more information, visit www.drjsbest.com.  I also provide consultation via telephone or Skype.  For appointment, call (800) 715-3053 or e-mail: drj@drjsbest.com.

Yeasts and parasites develop their colonies at parts of your body that are weak and have little defense.  Therefore, symptoms of yeast and parasitic infections can range from head to toe.

For example, if your thyroid gland is weak, yeasts and parasites will lodge in that area and cause overweight or underweight problems.  If they attack the mid ear, they can cause mid-ear infections and thus Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD).   They can also cause allergies, mouth thrush, asthma, foggy mind, depression, phbias, vaginal yeast infections, prostatitis, hormonal imbalance, fibromyalgia, skin rash, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.  The above are only some examples, the list goes on.

The causes of Cancer, AIDS, and Diabetes, etc. are complex.  However, when the overgrowth of yeasts and parasites in the body is controlled, symptoms of the most complicated diseases can be reduced or eliminated.

Dr. J’s Q&A Bag

Question:

Can yeast infection happen without any localized symptoms of a vaginal infection?

Answer:

Symptoms of yeast infections can be from head to toe, so it does not necessarily show up as a vaginal yeast infection.  Yeast and parasites can choose any part of your body that is weak to build a colony.  Also, yeast infections can affect male or female, young or old, regardless of ethnicity or nationality.  They are “equal opportunity” infections!
