In the previous two articles, I explained why PMS (Pre-Menstrual Syndrome) is easily treatable if you follow five drug-free remedies: 1) Dietary Change to nourish your body and starve yeasts and parasites; 2) Herbal Therapy to detox and balance your hormones.

In this article, I will address why Regular Exercise, Stress Management, and Sexercise are also important to help eliminate PMS (Pre-Menstrual Syndrome)

Regular Exercise:

Exercise improves blood circulation.  Yeasts and parasites love a still environment.  When your blood flows smoothly, the environment is not conducive for the overgrowth of yeasts and parasites.  Exercise also generates a natural chemical called “endorphin” – the morphine within.  Morphine is a pain killer.  Therefore, exercise reduces or eliminates menstrual cramps.

You don’t need to have a gym membership to exercise.  Our ancestors did not have gyms anyway.  For beginners, simple slow walking around the block in your neighborhood (or at the mall if you are concerned about safety) can be very effective.  Do it regularly.  Don’t wait until PMS occurs.  If you also suffer from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), just start with 5 to 10 minutes of slow walking and slowly build up to 30 minutes a day.  When you walk, don’t think!  Chances are you have been thinking too much!  Just enjoy the trees and sing with the birds!

Stress Management:

Stress is part of life.  Stress can propel you to the next level of success if you manage it effectively.  In the Chinese language, the word crisis consists of two characters: danger and opportunity (危機).  PMS usually correlates with unmanaged stress.  If you see every challenge in life as an opportunity to learn, grow and expand, then you will enjoy harmony in your life.  You will not be controlled by mood swings.  When you are in harmony with your life, you will be in harmony with your body!

Sexercise:

The Chinese have long believed that if a young woman has PMS, she will grow out of it after she is married.  Why?  Sexercise!

Sex is a great remedy for PMS.  Good sex increases self-esteem and improves blood circulation.  When you enjoy good quality and quantity of sex with the right partner, you feel loved and energized.

Women who suffer from PMS are usually sexually inactive despite marriage.  Sexual desire and potency do not have to decline with age.  Some of my clients enjoy frequent sex (at least three or four times a week) in their 80s!  You are never too old or too tired for sex.  Remember two principles: 1) you either use it or lose it; and 2) practice makes perfect.  When you learn to enjoy sex on a regular basis, you will enjoy being a female.  When you enjoy being a female or being who you are, chances are you will say goodbye to PMS!

If you follow the five drug-free remedies described in this three-part article: yeast-free nutritional program, Chinese herbal therapy, regular exercise, stress management and sexercise, your PMS will soon dissipate!

I have been feeling sluggish for years.  Fatigue, mind fog, and allergies had contributed to my loss of libido.  I have been reading Dr. J’s articles in a holistic magazine.  I am glad that I finally had the courage to call her.  Dr. J put me on Herbal Detox (Yeast-Para Control and Cleansing-Balance Tea) and Male Vitality.

I changed my poor diet and follow her nutritional program in the yeast-free cookbook (Healthy and Tasty: Dr. J’s Anti-Yeast Cooking).  I also learned to manage stress better by using the techniques in another book, Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healing.)

I have been on Dr. J’s regimen for three months now.  My energy level has increased, mental concentration has improved, and allergy symptoms such as sinus congestion are clearing up.  Most of all, I regained my sexual interest.  I am dating again!!!

Q.        Can oral sex cause yeast infections or bladder infections?  Can antibiotics or anti-fungal drugs help?  I have yeast infection symptoms such as redness and itching every time I receive oral sex from my boyfriend.  Occasionally I also get bladder infections.  My doctor gave me Diflucan and antibiotics.  But the redness and itching keep coming back, and it does not prevent bladder infections.  What should I do?

A.        Oral sex can cause recurrent yeast infections and/or bladder infections if your boyfriend has yeast infections.  Like I indicated in previous articles, man and woman have “equal opportunity” to contract yeast infections.  You both need to be treated; otherwise, you two can pass yeast infections back and forth to each other.

Antibiotics may stop bladder infections temporarily, but they cause yeast overgrowth and makes the situation worse.  Diflucan or any anti-fungal drugs are chemicals that clog your liver and kidneys.  They may temporarily inhibit the symptoms, but do not cleanse the toxins.

Here are my recommendations:

  1. Herbal Therapy:

Take our Herbal Detox program: Yeast-Para Control and Cleansing-Balance Tea, to remove excess yeasts, parasites, and toxins.  You and your boyfriend need to take the full dosage until you are symptom-free.  Afterwards, stay on the maintenance dosage for prevention.

  1. Yeast-Free Nutritional Program:

Try to adhere to a yeast-free nutritional program that contains no sugar, no dairy, no wheat, no yeasts, no caffeine, no alcohol, no nicotine, nor chemicals.  My clients call it “Dr. J’s Eight Commandments”.  It may be a tall order,  because most people are used to the Standard American Diet (SAD) that is loaded with no-no’s.  To learn what to eat and what to avoid, follow my yeast-free cookbook, Healthy and Tasty: Dr. J’s Anti-Yeast Cooking.

  1. Good Hygiene:

Abstain from oral sex for a while.   Remember, both of you need to be treated.  When you are ready to try it again, make sure that both of you take a shower, brush your teeth, and scrape your tongues.  Mouthwash is recommended.  A good hygiene can minimize the chances for you to contract yeast and/or bladder infections.  Have you heard of the expression, “Being clean is sexy”?

  1. Topical Treatment:

To get some temporary relief, use a cotton ball soaked with Witch Hazel to dab on affected areas.  When the solution is dry, smear Vitamin E oil on it.  That will stop the itching temporarily.  Make sure you wear surgical gloves to prevent spreading.

  1. Stress Management:

Not everyone receiving oral sex will contract yeast and/or bladder infections.  Infections occur when your immune system is weak.  The above regimens will strengthen your immune system from a physical perspective.  You will also need to remove your mental toxins as well.  Read my book: Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healing.  It gives you a few tools to manage your stress effectively.  You can also consider private consultation sessions with myself.

Q.        I just went through menopause.  My husband and I used to enjoy sex.  Lately I feel pain during the intercourse and burning sensation after sex.  I also crave sugar like mad.  I don’t like to take drugs.  What can I do to get rid of these symptoms?

A.        It sounds like both you and your husband have yeast infections.  For you, yeast infections can make your vaginal tissue raw and sensitive to friction.  Decrease of estrogen can also cause dryness and painful intercourse.  If you feel the burning sensation, it is probably due to the possibility that your husband’s semen is loaded with yeasts.

In this case both you and your husband need to be treated.  Otherwise, you would be giving yeast infections back and forth to each other.

Here are my recommendations:

  1. Yeast-Free Nutrition:

This is a nutritional program you and your husband need to adhere to as much as you can for life.  It contains no sugar, no dairy, no wheat, no yeasts, no caffeine, no alcohol, no nicotine, nor chemical.  All of these items will feed the yeasts and parasites, clog your liver and kidneys, and thus worsen the overgrowth of yeasts and parasites.  To learn what to eat and what to avoid, follow my yeast-free cookbook, Healthy and Tasty: Dr. J’s Anti-Yeast Cooking.

  1. Herbal Therapy:

Both you and your husband will benefit from our Herbal Detox: Yeast-Para Control and Cleansing-Balance TeaYeast-Para Control is designed to remove excess yeasts, parasites, and toxins.  Cleansing-Balance Tea is designed to flush the debris Yeast-Para Control creates while also cleansing the liver and kidneys.

Furthermore, consider Female Vitality for hormonal regeneration.  Your estrogen level can decrease after menopause.  Female Vitality can balance your female hormones and make your vaginal walls moister.

Take Herbal Cocktail for sugar craving. Herbal Cocktail is a high-protein herbal drink that nourishes your body and starves yeasts and parasites.  Your sugar craving would be stopped with regular consumption of Herbal Cocktail.

  1. Stress Management:

The sexiest organ is your brain.  If you and your husband have unresolved psychological issues, this can cause problems in the bedroom.  Read my book, Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healing. It gives you a few tools to manage stress more effectively.  If you want to consider psychological counseling, the following is the contact information.

In Part 1 of this article, I addressed three natural remedies for Pre-Menstrual Syndrome (PMS), including yeast-free nutrition, herbal detox, and hormonal regeneration.  A yeast-free nutritional approach will prevent allergens such as simple sugars, dairy, wheat, and yeasts from entering the body.  In the pre-menstrual period, I recommended to increase the intake of complex carbohydrates and crucifers such as broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, and brussel sprouts.  This type of food will help reduce the amount of hormones such as prostaglandin, estrogen, progesterone and prolactin, and thus reduce water retention, bloating, weight gain, and mood swings.

If you want to learn more about what you can eat and what you should avoid, follow my yeast-free cookbook: Healthy and Tasty: Dr. J’s Anti-Yeast Cooking.   Secondly, go on our Herbal Detox (consisting of Yeast-Para Control and Cleansing-Balance Tea ) and hormonal regeneration product with Female Vitality.  Our Herbal Detox program removes excess yeasts and parasites, thus cleaning up existing toxins.  Female Vitality balances the female hormonal system and allows the female hormones to work for you instead of against you.

The following are additional natural remedies for PMS:

1)    Exercise:

Exercise is particularly helpful with PMS because it generates endorphins, a morphine from within.  Endorphin is an opium-like, natural substance which reduces pain and gives a calm, high feeling (without the use of drugs)!  Again, don’t wait until you are in the middle of PMS to exercise.  Do 30 minutes of slow walking every day.  This type of exercise will improve your blood circulation and thus reduce the tendency of water retention and muscle aches.  The heavy feeling and cramps in your pelvic area can also be reduced or eliminated.  Regular exercise can also strengthen the muscle tone in your lower abdomen and thus increase the tolerance for pain or discomfort.  A side benefit is that it also helps you become a better lover when you have tight, instead of loose, muscles.  And remember, slow walking is free of charge!

 2)    Hands-On Healing:

Hands-on healing techniques such as therapeutic touch and gentle chiropractic adjustment known as cranio-sacral technique can be very soothing during the onset of PMS.   If you feel too uncomfortable to have anyone touch you while experiencing severe cramps, just put your hand(s) on the area that is cramping, such as the lower abdomen or hip areas.  The healing energy in your own hands can reduce the cramps and give some relief to pain.   You can do this while lying down or sitting up, such as while driving.

 3)    Stress Management:

Women who are under heavy emotional stress often suffer from more PMS.  Your body and mind affect each other at all times.  Emotional stress can cause many kinds of physical problems including PMS.  Remember, all physical illnesses have symbolic meanings.  PMS involves the female reproductive system. It requires the examination of emotional issues concerning one’s femininity.  A woman with a positive self-image usually takes good care of herself and does not give PMS a chance to creep in or sustain itself.

 4)    Sexercise:

The Chinese have long believed that if a young woman has PMS, she will grow out of it after she is married.  Why?  Sexercise!

Sex is the best remedy for PMS.  Good sex increases self-esteem and improves blood circulation.  When you enjoy good quality and quantity of sex with the right partner, you feel loved and energized.

Women who suffer from PMS or menopause usually are sexually inactive whether they are married or not.  Sexual desire and potency do not have to decline with age.  Some of my clients enjoy frequent sex (at least three or four times a week) in their 80s!  You are never too old or too tired for sex!  Remember two principles: 1) you either use it or lose it; and 2) practice makes perfect!   When you learn to enjoy sex on a regular basis, you will learn to enjoy being a female.  Also remember, Female Vitality can help improve sexual function.  When you enjoy being a female or being who you are, chances are you will say goodbye to PMS!
