According to the 2010 statistics by the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), health spending is rising faster than incomes in most developed countries.   This raises questions about how these countries will pay for future health care needs.

The issue is particularly acute in the United States.  The health expenditure per capita was $7,538 in 2008.  The country not only spends much more per capita on health care than any other country, but also has had one of the fastest growth rates in health spending among developed countries.

The growth rate is usually measured by the percentage of gross domestic product (GDP).  In the United States, the health expenditure of GDP grew from 8.8% in 1980 to 15.2% in 2003, and keeps growing!

Despite this higher level of spending, the United States does not achieve better outcomes on many important health measures.  For example, type II diabetes, child obesity, cancer, etc. are on the rise.

In previous articles, I explained in great detail symptoms of allergies ranging from head to toe.  Even though allergy symptoms are often triggered by certain types of food, molds, dusts, pollen, pets, etc., the physical causes are yeast and parasitic infections and the psychological causes are stress and “unfinished business” with other people.  Therefore, to eliminate allergy symptoms, you need to employ a holistic approach including yeast-free nutrition, herbal therapy, stress management, and clear the emotional issues that haunt you.

 

Yeast-Free Nutrition:

Most people are allergic to foods favored by yeasts, such as sugar, dairy, wheat, different yeasts, alcohol, caffeine, and chemicals, whether they know it or not.  When you consume these foods favored by yeasts, you feed the little enemies within your body.  When yeasts are well fed, their symbiotic twins, parasites, also thrive.  After they have a rock ‘n roll party, they dump their toxins in you!  The toxins they deposit can make you sick and cause you allergy symptoms from head to toe.

My mom had a stroke last year (she was 83 years old) when there was heat wave in her area.  Her symptoms then included cognitive impairment (disorientation), slurred speech, and weakness of the right hand and right leg.  I placed her on herbal and massage therapy in addition to her routine of prayers and a vegetarian diet.  She has been taking my herbal formulas religiously and doing low-impact exercises every day for the past year.  Now she is able to walk steadily on her feet, has remained very alert and coherent, and recovered a good appetite.  The only thing that keeps her from a full recovery is that her right fingers have not regained full flexibility.  For an 84 year old woman, I must say that she is doing exceptionally well.

When I flew up to see her last week, I was very pleased with I saw.  Basically she is ambulatory and independent.  I am very grateful that she was able to recover from the stroke to a great extent.

In order to control your weight permanently, you need to nourish your body, mind, and spirit on a consistent basis.  In the previous articles,  I discussed strategies to nourish your body.  To summarize, it’s important to follow a yeast-free nutritional program so your body will not suffer new assaults.  It’s also important to use Herbal Cocktail to curb your appetitite, stop sugar craving, nourish your body, and starve yeasts and parasites.  In addition, you can faciliate weight loss the safe and healthy way by using Fitness Regular as a fat blocker, and Fitness Plus as a fat burner.

The following strategies will help you effectively manage your stress, nourish your mind, and balance your spirit:

Manage Your Stress Effectively:

Psychological stress, if managed properly, can be motivating and beneficial.  The first step is to accept instead of resist stress.  Accept the fact that you are being challenged.  Be cognizant of the fact that Life is like school: before you can obtain a diploma or degree, you must be willing and able to do your homework and pass a series of tests, whether pleasant or unpleasant.  The good news is that even if you fail, the universe will provide you with unlimited opportunities to go through the tests again and again until you pass them!  Therefore, your clock is not ticking.  Time is irrelevant!

Follow the Emotional Releasing Technique instructions in Chapter 11 of Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healing, to release your psychological toxins and allow yourself to move on with your life with a clean slate.    Some self-administered techniques such as self-hypnosis, meditation, prayers and affirmations can also be helpful in reducing stress physically and psychologically.  If psychological stress becomes paralyzing, then you should seek competent professional help.

Restore Spiritual Balance:

Spiritually speaking, all of us chose our destiny when we were born into this life.  No matter what kind of life situation we are in, we are given an opportunity to prove that we have the strength, tenacity, wisdom and faith to overcome obstacles and excel.

Exercise Daily:

One last thing I want to stress is the importance of exercising daily.  It’s clear that exercise improves your blood circulation, brings more oxygen to your body cells, burns calories, and generate endorphins.  Endorphins are natural hormones, and can be considered as morphine from within.  Morphine is a pain killer.  If you experience stiffness or arthritic pain, exercise will reduce or eliminate the aches and pains.   From a psychological perspective, endorphins also gives you calm, high feelings.  Because these feelings don’t last, you need to exercise daily to generate new supplies of endorphins.

You might say, “I don’t have membership to a gym!”  You can exercise without a gym. Slow walking in your neighborhood or park for 30 minutes a day is a good way to exercise.  Or, you may jog in place for 10 minutes a day to start.  Where there is a will, there is a way!

Your weight and health problems did not occur overnight.  Naturally, becoming trim and getting well takes time.  Only your understanding of the illness and wellness process, commitment and patience will bring you positive and permanent results!

In order to correct weight problems, you need to learn to nourish your body and mind on a regular basis.  Staying trim is a lifelong project.  No crash diets, injections, medications, or surgeries can achieve this purpose.  The following natural remedies have been time-tested by many of my clients as the most cost-effective for healthy and safe weight loss:

Do you mind if I ask you a few very important questions?  Please be honest in answering them.  Just by answering these questions honestly can change the way you think and feel every day, for the rest of your life!

  • Do you feel that you are sluggish and not as productive as you want to be?

Step 2.  Remove Toxins from Your Body

Step 1 is to get yourself educated, so that you are aware of the factors causing your imbalance.  By following the yeast-free nutritional program and avoiding feeding yeasts and parasites with their favorite food (including sugar, dairy, wheat, yeasts, alcohol, nicotine and chemicals), you will be able to put healthy and nourishing food in your body and prevent your body from further abuse or misuse.  However, if the abuse or misuse has been going on for many years, you need to consider removing the existing toxins so that your body has a chance to heal!

 

The two most important tasks in removing the toxins from your body are controlling the overgrowth, then removing, excess yeasts and parasites.

 

Yeast and Parasite Control:

Yeasts and parasites are like “Siamese Twins”.  They go hand in hand.  Therefore, you need to use a formula that removes yeasts and parasites from your body simultaneously and very quickly.  A good formula will enable you to see the evidence in your toilet almost instantly.  Our Yeast-Para Control is designed for this purpose.

There are more than 250,000 species of yeasts and parasites.  I cannot describe them all.  The above are most commonly seen among people in North America.  In other words, you have been feeding an “extended family” involuntarily. Not only do these enemies within (yeasts and parasites) suck your energy, they also deposit toxins after they have a rock ‘n roll party in your body.  That’s why you often feel fatigued and suffer allergic reactions.

 

Cleansing the Debris and Toxins

As explained previously, the major causes for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) include psychological, dietary and yeast-related factors.  Therefore, only a holistic treatment regimen will yield long-lasting results.  Based on my clients’ responses, the following have been the most effective self-administered treatment methods.

 

Boosting Energy:

Exercise: 

People with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome can easly sleep 10 to 16 hours a day and still feel fatigued.  Exercise would be the last thing they want to do.  Remember, yeasts love a still environment that has no air.  When your body is immobile, your blood circulation is poor and your oxygen supply is insufficient.  This creates an excellent incubator for yeasts and parasites to overgrow! 

 

Force yourself to start with five minutes of slow walking around the house or around the block.  Slowly increase to 30 minutes a day.   You will find that you are invigorated after each slow walk.  You will have better results if you walk outdoors. 

During the recuperating period, there is one danger to keep in mind.  A few days to a few weeks after you get on the right track, you may begin to experience surges of energy.  This is an exciting feeling!  This excitement often leads you to overdo it again!   

Ellen is a good example:

 

            After suffering from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for several years, Ellen was so excited about her “new found energy.”  Three weeks into our holistic treatment, she woke up one morning with a surge of energy.  She quickly resumed the activity level she used to have before the onset of Chronic Fatigue  Syndrome.   She cleaned the house, did the laundry and grocery shopping, and then went to the gym.  While she was working out in the gym, she collapsed and fell on her face!   

          

            Remember the principle of healing?  For one year of illness, it takes at least one month to heal.  Allow your energy reserve to build up.  Don’t exhaust your reservor too quickly.

   

            Slow walking is recommended for the first three to six months during the recovery period.  After that, any vigorous exercise should be introduced slowly, based on your body’s ability to handle it.

 

 

Re-Establishing Self-Image:           

            The onset of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is coupled with the loss of self.  Seek proper professional help to reestablish a sense of self.  Many caretakers give their care or love to make themselves feel important and thus feel loved or respected.  In order to be loved and respected by others, you must love and respect yourself first.  See yourself as the most important human being on Earth.  Exercise the art of selfishness.   Learn to take care of yourself first before you take care of others.   

            Practice self-love and self-respect.  Write a brief note or buy a card to praise yourself whenever you accomplish something.   Take yourself to a movie or a shopping trip if you feel a little down.  Develop a support system with which you can share your joys and agonies.  Being a “lone ranger” can be very fatiguing. 

            Allow yourself to receive love and care.  Every so often revert to the child stage to ask for love and attention.  If you don’t know how, just observe young children.  They will show you how you can ask for love and attention without allowing your ego or pride get in the way.

           

Chronic Fatigue Syndrome comes from chronic neglect of yourself emotionally and physically.  No doctors out there can cure you but yourself.  A Chinese proverb says, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step.” Take your first step, no matter how hard it is.  Each following step will become easier and easier.  Sooner or later, you will step out of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome!

As I mentioned in the previous article, there is no single cause for depression.  Therefore, there is no single effective treatment for depression.  Commonly used anti-depressants all have side effects.  Although the treating psychiatrist may switch the medication from one kind to the other, or adjust the dosage, the results from this “band-aid” approach are not necessarily desirable.

Since depression is caused by feelings of some sort of loss, or of being “stuck” or “trapped,” the treatment should focus on how to become “unstuck.”   A Harvard trained physician, Dr. James Gordon, has employed a holistic approach to treating Post-Traumatic Disorders among teenagers who have experienced various wars.  The end results to his approach were a significant reduction in depression and violence.

The following are drug-free treatment methods that have been time proven for three decades to be effective with my clients:

Yeast-Free Nutrition:

A yeast-free nutritional program containing no sugar, no dairy, no wheat, no yeasts, no caffeine, no nicotine, nor chemicals, will nourish your body and starve the little enemies within: yeasts and parasites.  Otherwise, yeasts and parasites can be very active at night when the environment is relatively still. Herbal Detox:

When your body is loaded with toxins, it becomes fatigued due to being overworked in trying to purge all the toxins.  In order for your body to activate the innate intelligence to heal itself, one needs to remove existing toxins.  Our Herbal Detox program (consisting of Yeast-Para Control and Cleansing-Balance Tea) are excellent to achieve this purpose.

Meditation:

Meditation is a practice to achieve a state of calmness and peace.  Some people also use this practice to train the mind to develop insight.  When the mind is centered, the body functions better.  Many people report that both their mental and physical health improve after a period of meditation.  In the case of depression, it’s very helpful to gain insight into the causes of depression, and invoke solutions from your higher self, or supernatural power. 

In the western world, people are always pressured for time.  There is fast food, fast photo, and so on.  Thus, I came up with “fast meditation” to suit the needs of people living in a contemporary society!  Based on my more than thirty years of experience in meditation, I have designed a 10-minute meditation technique which can quickly help you quiet your mind and give you a sense of peace and deep relaxation.  If you wish to learn about this 10-minute meditation, please read my book, Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healing.

Visualization:

Once you have gained insight into the causes of depression (whether it’s personal or business affairs), visualize solutions.  Focus on what you want.  Rewrite the script for your life drama, and visualize that the new script is well-acted by you, the main actor (star).  Fake it until you make it!  Your subconscious mind does not know the difference.  Your mind would only manifest for you what you impress upon it.

Uplifting your mood:

Watch funny movies often and have a good laugh!  Remember the good old saying, “Laughter is the best medicine”!  Our Female Vitality or Male Vitality would also be helpful in increasing your energy, improving mental clarity, and uplifting your mood.

Exercise:

As you are aware, exercise improves blood circulation and increases energy flow.  Lack of exercise can cause sluggish blood flow.  A stagnant environment can become an incubator for yeasts to overgrow.  When blood circulation is smooth, toxins in the body can also be flushed out more easily.

Slow walking is the preferred form of exercise for people who are depressed. Depending on your energy level, you may start from 10 minutes of slow walking to 30 minutes or one hour a day.  Choose the best time of the day you can walk consistently.  If you can choose a location where there are trees and/or flowers with white clouds and blue skies, the effect will be further enhanced.  If not, walking around in a shopping mall is just fine. 

Prayers:

For those of you who believe in God, or the universe, or your higher self, PUSH – Pray Until Something Happens.  Here is an example of prayers:

“Thank you God (or the universe) for guiding me thus far!  Now I need your further assistance to make more progress.  Please give me strength, courage, resources and guidance to stay on the right track to improve my health (business, relationships, etc.).”

Remember, express your gratitude first, and then ask for more help!

Tapping:

In order to control your weight permanently, you need to nourish your body, mind, and spirit on a consistent basis.  As described in the previous article,  it’s important to follow a yeast-free nutritional program so your body will not suffer new assaults.   It’s also important to use Herbal Cocktail to curb your appetitite and sugar craving, Fitness Regular as a fat blocker, and Fitness Plus as a fat burner.

The following strategies will help you manage your stress and balance your spirit effectively:

Manage Your Stress Effectively:

Psychological stress, if managed properly, can be motivating and beneficial.  The first step is to accept instead of resist stress.  Accept the fact that you are being challenged and that every challenge gives you an opportunity to grow and expand.   

Life is like school: before you can obtain a diploma or degree, you must be willing and able to do your homework and pass a series of tests.  The good news is that even if you fail, the universe will provide you with unlimited opportunities to go through the tests again and again until you past them!  Therefore, your clock is not ticking.  Time is irrelevant!

Follow the Emotion Releasing Technique instructions in Chapter 11 of Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healing, to release your psychological toxins and allow yourself to move on with your life with a clean slate.  Some self-administered techniques such as  self-hypnosis, meditation, prayers and affirmations can also be helpful in reducing stress physically and psychologically.  If psychological stress becomes paralyzing, then you should seek competent professional help.

Restore Spiritual Balance:

Spiritually speaking, we all chose our destiny when we were born into this life.  No matter what kind of life situation we are in, we are given an opportunity to prove that we have the strength, tenacity, wisdom and faith to overcome obstacles and excel. 

The only way to get out of the rut of a dysfunctional life situation is to exercise your unconditional love and wisdom.

Use the principles described in Chapter 11 of Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healing to understand, accept, forgive and release.  Once you can release the negative emotions toward those who have done you wrong, you can release the negative past that has been haunting you.  When you no longer carry the old baggage, you no longer carry the excess weight!  Love and respect yourself as the most unique, creative and miraculous person in the world.  If you cannot accomplish this on your own, seeking help from a spiritually-oriented, well-grounded therapist can be fruitful.

Exercise Daily:

One last thing I want to stress is the importance of exercising daily.  It’s common sense that exercise improves your blood circulation,  brings more oxygen to your body cells, burns calories, and generates endorphins.  Endorphins are natural hormones, and are considered as morphine from within.  Morphine is a pain killer.  If you experience stiffness or arthritic pain, exercise will reduce or eliminate the aches and pains.   From a psychological perspective, endorphins also gives you calm, high feelings.  Because these feelings don’t last, you need to exercise everyday to generate new supplies of endorphins.

You might say, “I don’t have the membership to a gym!”  You can exercise without a gym. You can do slow walking in your neighborhood or in a park for 30 minutes a day, or you may jog in place for 10 minutes a day to start.  When there is a will, there is a way! 

Your weight and health problems did not occur overnight.  Naturally, becoming trim and getting well takes time.  Only your complete understanding of the illness and wellness process, as well as commitment and patience, will bring you positive and permanent results!

In order to correct weight problems, you should learn to nourish your body and mind on a regular basis.  Getting and staying trim is a lifelong project.  No crash diets, injections, medications, or surgeries can achieve this purpose.  The following natural remedies have been confirmed by many of my clients as most cost-effective for weight control:

Yeast-Free Nutritional Program:
