When people suffer a severe case of yeast and parasitic infections, not only are their bodies toxic, but so are their minds!  These people usually have had traumatic childhood or early adulthood experiences which have made them angry, resentful, frustrated, regretful and negative.  As mentioned previously, carrying negative emotions day in and day out is just like driving your car with the hand brake on.  It will cause a lot of wear and tear on your immune system!  Based on my experiences counseling thousands of people thus far, I have found that psychological stress is actually the most important cause for adult onset of yeast and parasitic infections!  If these negative emotions are not released effectively, the rest of the regimens discussed so far would only provide a temporary relief.

It is like cleaning up a vast field of tall weeds.  An anti-yeast nutritional program, herbal therapy, exercise and other treatment methods only serve the function of chopping down the weeds above the ground.  Psychological detoxification and nourishment serve to uproot the core problem from underground.  If this uprooting is not done, the field may appear to be clean for a while.  Nevertheless, when the summer rainfall comes, the weeds will grow like crazy again.  Similarly, when a person is confronted with life crises, the problem of yeast and parasitc overgrowth may reoccur!  Spiritual psychotherapy, writing “reconcile letters”, meditation, and hypnosis are some useful ways to combat this.

In order to control your weight permanently, you need to nourish your body, mind, and spirit on a consistent basis.  In the previous articles,  I discussed strategies to nourish your body.  To summarize, it’s important to follow a yeast-free nutritional program so your body will not suffer new assaults.  It’s also important to use Herbal Cocktail to curb your appetitite, stop sugar craving, nourish your body, and starve yeasts and parasites.  In addition, you can faciliate weight loss the safe and healthy way by using Fitness Regular as a fat blocker, and Fitness Plus as a fat burner.

The following strategies will help you effectively manage your stress, nourish your mind, and balance your spirit:

Manage Your Stress Effectively:

Psychological stress, if managed properly, can be motivating and beneficial.  The first step is to accept instead of resist stress.  Accept the fact that you are being challenged.  Be cognizant of the fact that Life is like school: before you can obtain a diploma or degree, you must be willing and able to do your homework and pass a series of tests, whether pleasant or unpleasant.  The good news is that even if you fail, the universe will provide you with unlimited opportunities to go through the tests again and again until you pass them!  Therefore, your clock is not ticking.  Time is irrelevant!

Follow the Emotional Releasing Technique instructions in Chapter 11 of Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healing, to release your psychological toxins and allow yourself to move on with your life with a clean slate.    Some self-administered techniques such as self-hypnosis, meditation, prayers and affirmations can also be helpful in reducing stress physically and psychologically.  If psychological stress becomes paralyzing, then you should seek competent professional help.

Restore Spiritual Balance:

Spiritually speaking, all of us chose our destiny when we were born into this life.  No matter what kind of life situation we are in, we are given an opportunity to prove that we have the strength, tenacity, wisdom and faith to overcome obstacles and excel.

The only way to get out of the rut of a dysfunctional life situation is to exercise your unconditional love and wisdom.

Use the principles described in Chapter 11 of Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healingto understand, accept, forgive and release.  Once you can release the negative emotions toward those who have done you wrong, you can release the negative past that has been haunting you.  When you no longer carry the old baggage, you no longer carry the excess weight!  Love and respect yourself as the most unique, creative and miraculous person in the world.  If you cannot accomplish this on your own, seeking help from a spiritually-oriented, well-grounded therapist can be fruitful.

Exercise Daily:

One last thing I want to stress is the importance of exercising daily.  It’s clear that exercise improves your blood circulation, brings more oxygen to your body cells, burns calories, and generate endorphins.  Endorphins are natural hormones, and can be considered as morphine from within.  Morphine is a pain killer.  If you experience stiffness or arthritic pain, exercise will reduce or eliminate the aches and pains.   From a psychological perspective, endorphins also gives you calm, high feelings.  Because these feelings don’t last, you need to exercise daily to generate new supplies of endorphins.

You might say, “I don’t have membership to a gym!”  You can exercise without a gym. Slow walking in your neighborhood or park for 30 minutes a day is a good way to exercise.  Or, you may jog in place for 10 minutes a day to start.  Where there is a will, there is a way!

Your weight and health problems did not occur overnight.  Naturally, becoming trim and getting well takes time.  Only your understanding of the illness and wellness process, commitment and patience will bring you positive and permanent results!

Most available literature would mention lightly that “early diagnosis” and “proper amount of antibiotics” would “cure” Lyme disease.  However, I have found that many Lyme disease diagnostic tests are unreliable. Many patients were not given the diagnosis of Lyme disease by their physicians until after they had suffered a cluster of symptoms for years.  It was only after their disease developed into a stage III (chronic) Lyme disease that people would take notice.

In my more than 30 years of clinical practice, I have not come across any Lyme disease clients that have been “cured by antibiotics.”  They might experience temporary relief of symptoms; however, when their life is stressful, the symptoms would return.  Worse yet, those who have been treated with many courses, or multiple brands and strains of antibiotics for a long period of time, tend to develop a severe case of yeast overgrowth.  That’s the major reason why people with Lyme disease also have candidiasis or other yeast and parasitic infection symptoms.

As long as you keep the immunity strong, you can co-exist with all kinds of microbial organisms in harmony.  Unfortunately, I have found most people with Lyme disease had a “go-go-go” personality.  Physically speaking, they exhaust their energy reserve by overdoing things.  Emotionally speaking, they stressed themselves out by creating constant time-pressured life events.  Spiritually speaking, the universe gives them an opportunity to be humbled, rest and takes good care of their bodies.

Based on the above understanding, my holistic approach is to help my clients with Lyme disease gain a physical, emotional and spiritual balance.  The following are guidelines for holistic treatment:

 

Physical Balance:

In order to strengthen the immunity, it’s important to be on a yeast-free nutritional program containing no sugar, no dairy, no wheat, no yeasts, no caffeine, no alcohol, nor chemicals.  Smokers were also guided to stop smoking, because the above no-no’s and nicotine feed yeasts and parasites.  As mentioned previously, yeast and parasitic infections go hand in hand with Lyme disease because of the liberal use of antibiotics.  To learn what to eat and what to avoid, so that you can nourish your body, and starve your little enemies within, follow my yeast-free cookbook, Healthy and Tasty: Dr. J’s Anti-Yeast Cooking.

Because the common symptoms of Lyme disease include fatigue, mind fog, swollen glands, and shifting aches and pain (which mimic Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and fibromyalgia) herbal therapy is also important to eliminate or reduce these symptoms.  The combination of Herbal Detox (Yeast-Para Control and Cleansing-Balance Tea) and Hormonal Regeneration (Female Vitality or Male Vitality) programs works to increase energy, clear mind fog, stop inflammation, and eliminate aches and pain.  No two individuals have the same symptoms.  Therefore, some individuals may need Herbal Cocktailf or bloating and sugar craving as well.

Emotional Balance:

The precursor of Lyme disease is usually an overactive, stressful lifestyle.  Meditation, prayers, deep emotional releasing technique, etc. are very useful self-administered stress management techniques.  Stress is a part of life.  If managed properly, stress can motivate you to move forward. 

Carrying negative emotions such as anger, resentment, fear, regret, and guilt is like driving a car with the hand break on.  It causes wear and tear on your immunity.   Therefore, it’s important to clear the “unfinished” business.

Spiritual Balance:

Some people felt false relief when they received a diagnosis of Lyme disease from their physicians.  Antibiotics are considered “magic bullets” in western medical establishments.  Through their continued suffering, patients realize this is not true.  If you are spiritual, you might wonder why your life is ruined by such tiny creatures like ticks (only the size of poppy or sesame seeds). This is a way designed by the universe to humble you and “encourage” you to take good care of yourself.  Your body is a temporary home for your soul.  However, in order to have a smoother spiritual journey, you still need to take good care of this temporary home.

There is also a possibility that you have abused or misused your power to control people.  Therefore, you are given an “opportunity” to learn how it’s like to be controlled by tiny creatures like ticks.  If you apologize to the universe for this possibility and vow that you will never make the same mistake again, you might feel peace and harmony with the universe and with yourself.

It is common sense that a strong immune system is the foundation for good health.  When your immunity is weak, a variety of diseases can flourish in your body.  Here is an analogy: when the police force is strong in a society, there will be social order; when the police force is weak, gangsters take over, and people would live in chaos and fear.  Scientists have reported that all of us have cancer genes in our body.  It is only when our immune system is compromised that our body cells become fermented and turn into cancer cells.

So the question is: How do I strengthen my immunity?

It seems to be a simple question, but it requires a comprehensive answer.  Base on my more than three decades of clinical experiences helping people from all walks of life heal various health issues, here are my recommendations:

1)    Yeast-Free Nutritional program:

2)    Herbal Detox:

Our Herbal Detox program contains Yeast-Para Control and Cleansing-Balance Tea. Most people understand that their pets need to de-worm periodically. 7)    Rest:

When your body is exhausted, the immune system can break down.  Everyone requires different amounts of sleep.  Find a happy medium for your body.  Usually seven to eight hours of sleep is important for your body to recuperate.  If you feel that you aren’t getting enough sleep, then incorporate my ten-minute meditation (see my book, Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healing) and/or cat naps during the day which are very effective.

8)    Manage Stress Effectively:

Stress, if managed properly, can motivate and propel you to a higher level of success.  Otherwise, it can cause wear and tear down your immune system.  My book, Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healing, gives you many tools to manage your stress effectively.  Emotional Releasing Technique, writing a “Reconciliation Letter”, meditation, prayers, and affirmations are but a few examples.

Your immune system is like a machine containing various sizes of cogs and screws.  Each cog needs to operate harmoniously together in order to yield the best efficiency.  A car needs regular oil and air filter changes every 3,000 miles.  Your body needs regular maintenance just like your car.  Take good care of your body so that you can get best mileage out of it!

Cancer claims more than half a million lives every year. The cost of “treating” cancer patients in the United States alone is over 100 billion dollars a year.  In the past 100 years, cancer research has not made much progress in treating cancer successfully.

 

Causes of Cancer:

Many factors have been associated with cancer.  Tobacco, alcohol, pollution, an unhealthy work environment, food additives, pesticides, drugs, dietary habits and emotional stress have been cited as the most common factors causing cancer.  Based on my more than three decades of clinical experience, I have found that yeast and parasitic infections have been closely associated with cancer.  Yeast and parasitic infections can be labeled as the root of all evils so far as physical health is concerned, with psychological factors being at the core of these roots.  My treatment strategy is to deal with the physical and psychological issues simultaneously.

Holistic Treatment for Cancer:

Some clients chose not to have any invasive treatment methods, while others chose to have surgery and/or chemotherapy, and/or radiotherapy.  I have worked with clients at different stages of cancer with or without Western treatment modalities.  

From a physical perspective, ALL cancer clients experience yeast fermentation in the body.  When the body cells are fermented, they turn into cancer cells.  This has been documented by Dr. Otto Warburg, a Nobel Prize winner in 1931 and Dr. Gaston Naessens, a Canadian biologist.  Since yeasts and parasites are like Siamese Twins, they go hand in hand.  So, both yeast and parasitic infections are present in the cancer condition.  Therefore, I give my clients our Herbal Detox formulas: Yeast-Para Control and Cleansing-Balance TeaYeast-Para Control is designed to remove excess yeasts, parasites, and toxins.  Cleansing-Balance Tea is designed to flush the “debris” and cleanse the liver and kidneys.  Female Vitality or Male Vitality is very helpful when cancer clients are going through chemotherapy or radiotherapy and experience fatigue.  Herbal Cocktail is great for nourishment or combating nausea due to the side effects of chemo or radiotherapy.

Q.        I have been depressed for years.  I am now on three kinds of anti-depressants and two kinds of sleeping pills.  Can I take these medications and Dr. J’s products at the same time?  I am on a budget.  What herbal products can I take?

A.        There are no conflicts between our herbal products and antidepressants or sleeping pills.  Symptoms of depression vary among different individuals.  Our herbal products can

As I mentioned in the previous article, there is no single cause for depression.  Therefore, there is no single effective treatment for depression.  Commonly used anti-depressants all have side effects.  Although the treating psychiatrist may switch the medication from one kind to the other, or adjust the dosage, the results from this “band-aid” approach are not necessarily desirable.

Since depression is caused by feelings of some sort of loss, or of being “stuck” or “trapped,” the treatment should focus on how to become “unstuck.”   A Harvard trained physician, Dr. James Gordon, has employed a holistic approach to treating Post-Traumatic Disorders among teenagers who have experienced various wars.  The end results to his approach were a significant reduction in depression and violence.

The following are drug-free treatment methods that have been time proven for three decades to be effective with my clients:

Yeast-Free Nutrition:

A yeast-free nutritional program containing no sugar, no dairy, no wheat, no yeasts, no caffeine, no nicotine, nor chemicals, will nourish your body and starve the little enemies within: yeasts and parasites.  Otherwise, yeasts and parasites can be very active at night when the environment is relatively still. When your body is loaded with toxins, it becomes fatigued due to being overworked in trying to purge all the toxins.  In order for your body to activate the innate intelligence to heal itself, one needs to remove existing toxins.  Our Herbal Detox program (consisting of Yeast-Para Control and Cleansing-Balance Tea) are excellent to achieve this purpose.

Meditation:

Meditation is a practice to achieve a state of calmness and peace.  Some people also use this practice to train the mind to develop insight.  When the mind is centered, the body functions better.  Many people report that both their mental and physical health improve after a period of meditation.  In the case of depression, it’s very helpful to gain insight into the causes of depression, and invoke solutions from your higher self, or supernatural power. 

In the western world, people are always pressured for time.  There is fast food, fast photo, and so on.  Thus, I came up with “fast meditation” to suit the needs of people living in a contemporary society!  Based on my more than thirty years of experience in meditation, I have designed a 10-minute meditation technique which can quickly help you quiet your mind and give you a sense of peace and deep relaxation.  If you wish to learn about this 10-minute meditation, please read my book, Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healing.

Visualization:

Once you have gained insight into the causes of depression (whether it’s personal or business affairs), visualize solutions.  Focus on what you want.  Rewrite the script for your life drama, and visualize that the new script is well-acted by you, the main actor (star).  Fake it until you make it!  Your subconscious mind does not know the difference.  Your mind would only manifest for you what you impress upon it.

Uplifting your mood:

Watch funny movies often and have a good laugh!  Remember the good old saying, “Laughter is the best medicine”!  Our Female Vitality or Male Vitality would also be helpful in increasing your energy, improving mental clarity, and uplifting your mood.

Exercise:

As you are aware, exercise improves blood circulation and increases energy flow.  Lack of exercise can cause sluggish blood flow.  A stagnant environment can become an incubator for yeasts to overgrow.  When blood circulation is smooth, toxins in the body can also be flushed out more easily.

Slow walking is the preferred form of exercise for people who are depressed. Depending on your energy level, you may start from 10 minutes of slow walking to 30 minutes or one hour a day.  Choose the best time of the day you can walk consistently.  If you can choose a location where there are trees and/or flowers with white clouds and blue skies, the effect will be further enhanced.  If not, walking around in a shopping mall is just fine. 

Prayers:

For those of you who believe in God, or the universe, or your higher self, PUSH – Pray Until Something Happens.  Here is an example of prayers:

“Thank you God (or the universe) for guiding me thus far!  Now I need your further assistance to make more progress.  Please give me strength, courage, resources and guidance to stay on the right track to improve my health (business, relationships, etc.).”

Remember, express your gratitude first, and then ask for more help!

Tapping:

I have learned this wonderful technique recently and have found it very effective in releasing all sorts of emotional or physical strain.  Healing would take place quickly when physical and emotional toxins are removed.  I won’t be able to include details about tapping in this article because it’s a book in itself.  If you need more information, the following is the contact information:
