Q.        Can I lose weight on Dr. J’s Detox program?

A.        Definitely!  A client just told me that she has lost 55 pounds on our detox program in about 4 months.  That’s about three pounds per week.  This is a healthy pace for weight loss.  How did she do it?  She incorporated a holistic approach and had an “overhaul” of her life style:

1.  Yeast-Free Nutritional Program

She studied my book Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healing thoroughly.  She often could cite what I wrote in the book despite her mind fog in the beginning of the holistic treatment.

She followed the cooking principles diligently in my yeast-free cookbook: Healthy and Tasty: Dr. J’s Anti-Yeast Cooking.  Because of her severe food allergies, she carefully follows the recipes.  She now gradually increases the types of food she can eat without feeling bloated.

2.  Herbal Therapy

She was on Herbal Detox (Yeast-Para Control and Cleansing-Balance Tea), Hormonal Regeneration(Female Vitality), and Weight Management (Herbal Cocktail— a partial weight control program).  Her original purpose was to rid herself of yeast infection symptoms including chronic fatigue, mind fog, body aches, bloating, sugar craving, food allergies, Leaky Gut Syndrome, vaginal yeast infection and anal itch.  Because she had to watch her budget, she was not placed on the full weight management program.  After four months of detoxification, she gradually reduced or eliminated the yeast infection symptoms.  She also lost 55 pounds unexpectedly and was delighted to lose that toxic weight!

3.  Removing mental toxins

During the treatment course, in addition to dietary habit change and herbal therapy, she also received three sessions of telephone consultation with me to remove her mental toxins.  In the process of “mental detox” she learned to forgive her ex-husband, as well as accept and enjoy her current life situation.  In other words, she had come to terms with her divorce which had been weighing on her for the past 10 years.

4.  Regular exercise:

Because of her Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, I guided her to start with 10 minutes of slow walking around the block.  Now she has gradually built up to 30 minutes a day.

Because of both physical and mental detox, she was able to shed 55 pounds effortlessly.  This is just one of many examples among my clients.  You, too, can lose the toxic weight when you are committed to a healthy lifestyle and outlook on life!
