Q.  There is a lot of conflicting information on the Internet regarding Candida Cleansing Diet, what is your opinion on this?

A.  Indeed, it’s like a jungle out there in terms of information regarding the candida cleansing diet.   Oftentimes you are confused about what you can eat and what you should avoid when you try to heal yourself from candidiasis, or yeast and parasitic infections.

First of all, you need to understand that candida is a member of the yeast family.  Candida alone has 40 to 50 strains that are harmful to your health.  When yeasts are present, parasites also thrive.  I call them Siamese Twins.  Therefore, I would refer to yeast and parasite cleanse in this Q&A.

Also, the word “diet” seems to denote the meaning of being “limited” and “short term.”  Therefore, I prefer to call it an “Anti-Yeast Nutritional Program” because you can follow the nutritional principles for life to maintain optimal health.  The anti-yeast nutritional program I recommend contains no sugar, no dairy, no wheat, no yeast, no caffeine, no alcohol, no nicotine, nor chemicals.   I developed these “Eight Commandments” after I conquered a severe case of yeast and parasitic infection, and remained symptom-free for several decades.

In my yeast-free cookbook, Healthy and Tasty: Dr. J’s Anti-Yeast Cooking, you will find anti-yeast nutritional principles and recipes that nourish your body, but starve the yeasts and parasites.  The “Eight Commandments” detailed in my anti-yeast cookbook have stood the test of time.  My many clients and myself have been able to get well and stay well because of these anti-yeast nutritional principles.

When your immune system is strong, you can re-introduce food items that are on the no-no list if you go for moderation.   Occasionally, when I indulged on the no-no foods, I had to accept the consequences for it.  For example, if I had a small slice of ultra-sweet fruits such as watermelon, my body can handle it.  However, when I had a bigger slice, I would suffer from sugar headaches for a few days.  It becomes a matter of choice of what consequences you would accept when you deviate from my anti-yeast nutritional principles.

Also, please be aware that diet alone will not cure you when you suffer from chronic yeast and parasitic infections.  You do need to consider herbal therapy to eliminate excess yeasts and parasites quickly so that your body’s innate intelligence can be activated and healing can take place.  I formulated Yeast-Para Control to remove yeasts and parasites simultaneously.  Because yeasts and parasites go hand in hand, if you only treat yeast or only treat parasitic infection, sooner or later, both yeasts and parasites will come back together to “haunt” you.

I also formulated Cleansing-Balance Tea to flush the debris created by Yeast-Para Control.  It’s like this: Yeast-Para Control would scrub the toilet, and Cleansing-Balance Tea would flush the toilet.  When you combine these two formulas (Herbal Detox), together with the anti-yeast nutritional program, your body would begin to heal quickly.

As I stated in previous publications, yeasts and parasites are the “root of all evil” when health is concerned, and stress is the core of these roots.  Therefore, if you want to have long-lasting results, you must manage your stress effectively.  In my book, Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healing, there are several techniques you can use to reduce your stress.  They include meditation, releasing deep-rooted negative emotions, prayers, and affirmations.  To start, you may go to our website: www.drjsbest.com to download a free 10-Minute Meditation Guide to reduce stress and increase your general wellbeing.

Q.        I had radiotherapy for my throat cancer.  The treatment burned my throat and I have difficulty swallowing.  I am hungry and thirsty.  I feel very weak.  What would you recommend?  I am residing outside of the U. S., how can I get your products and services?

A.        Obviously you are malnourished and dehydrated.  The most important thing now is to get some nutrients and liquid in your body.  Since you have difficulty swallowing solid foods, I would suggest that you drink our herbal smoothie at least three times a day.

Here is the recipe:

1 cup of rice milk, or soy milk or almond milk

1 cup of purified water

1 scoop of Herbal Cocktail (powder)

2 capsules of Yeast-Para Control (break the capsules, just use the powder content)

2 capsules of Female Vitality (break the capsules, just use the powder content)

1 ripe banana (skin peeled, sliced)

Put the mixture in the blender on high speed for 10 seconds.

I created this herbal smoothie recipe for children or adults who could not swallow capsules.  This recipe has been experimented and perfected to make it delicious without the “herby taste”.  This herbal smoothie will be ideal for you to nourish and hydrate your body; therefore, you can rebuild your strength and immunity.

For meals, follow my yeast-free cookbook, Healthy and Tasty: Dr. J’s Anti-Yeast Cooking  to make brown rice gruel (porridges) and different variety of soups.

From the psychological perspective, any cancer involving the throat area usually  symbolizes that you have suppressed anger and have not expressed your anger verbally.  Follow the guidelines in my book, Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healing, to write letters to release the negative emotions in a proper way so that you can finish some “unfinished business.”

My books are available in hard copy or e-books.  We ship our herbal products and books worldwide.  You can place your order online: www.drjsbest.com, or call me at (818) 472-2213, or send me an e-mail at drj@drjsbest.com.  Consultation on the phone or over Skype is also available.  My Skype name: academyofvibranthealth.

Q.        What would be good for breakfast that is yeast-free?  Is gluten free brown rice bread okay?

A.        My yeast-free cookbook, Healthy and Tasty: Dr. J’s Anti-Yeast Cooking, gives you a typical day’s menu.  The cookbook teaches you principles of yeast-free nutrition consisting of no sugar, no dairy, no wheat, no yeasts, no caffeine, no alcohol, no nicotine, nor chemicals (Dr. J’s “Eight Commandments”).

Most Americans are used to the Standard American Diet (SAD) which is loaded with yeast-favorite food.  It may not be possible to have “the best” choice all the time, but you can go for a “better” choice.  If you follow 50% of our principles, you will get 50% of the benefits; if you follow 75%, you will get 75% of the benefits.  Do the best you can and experience results proportionate to your efforts.

In terms gluten free brown rice bread, please be aware that all grains have gluten.  It’s just that the kind of gluten in brown rice is not a favorite food for yeasts and parasites; therefore, it will nourish your body instead of feeding your little enemies.  To my knowledge, the brown rice bread available in markets today may have yeasts and/or sugar.  You will need to decide whether you want to take the consequences of consuming these negative ingredients.

Kamut bread has no sugar, no dairy, no wheat, nor yeasts.  We used to make kamut-bread avocado sandwiches for our customers in the past.  You might want to go to your local health food stores to see if they carry that item.

You can also rotate with oatmeal and oat bran muffins (see recipes in my yeast-free cookbook).  Meanwhile, you can have an Herbal Cocktail smoothie with a grain you choose.  This cocktail would be both delicious and nutritious!
