According to the AmericanInstitute for Cancer Research, 7.6 million deaths per year worldwide were caused by cancer.  The cost of “treating” (killing and mutilating) cancer patients in the United States alone is over 100 billion dollars a year.

Causes of Cancer:

Many factors have been associated with cancer.  Tobacco, alcohol, pollution, an unhealthy work environment, food additives, pesticides, drugs, emotional stress and dietary habits have been cited as the most common factors causing cancer.

 Dietary Factors:

According to Doll and Peto, the estimated percentage of cancer deaths caused by tobacco was 30%, while that by diet was 35%!  Excess dietary fat has been identified as an important contributing factor to colon, liver, gallbladder, breast and endometrial cancers.  Ingestion of saccharin and sodium nitrite (food preservatives) have also been associated with cancer.  Birth control pills have been reported to contribute to cancers in  the female reproductive system.

In more than three decades of practice, I have found that the same dietarity habit which causes the overgrowth of yeasts and parasites also causes cancer!  For example, I have noticed that a high incidence of stomach and esophageal cancers among Asian populations is associated with a high intake of fermented, yeast-loaded pickles.

Dr. Otto Warburg, a Nobel Prize winner in Science in 1931, demonstrates that a cancer cell has the metabolism of a plant cell.  He describes the process as “fermentation.”  A plant cell thrives on carbon dioxide and gives off oxygen as its waste product.  This is opposite to the function of  “normal cells.”

Dr. Gaston Naessens, a renowned Canadian biologist in his research for a cancer solution, developed an advanced microscope capable of magnifying 30,000 times (standard microscopes are capable of magnifying 1,800 times).  This enabled him to carefully observe an important phenomenon called polymorphism (the ability to change form).  This is also known as the process of fermentation.

When the fermentation process takes place, a cell reverts itself to a more primitive state.  This results in more rapid growth and chaos.  Moreover, this fermentation process changes the biochemical codes or sensors of the cell.

The weakened immune system cannot identify the invader and start the normal battle to get rid of this invader.  In fact, a weakened immunity may even adopt the identity of the foe (a fermented cancer cell) and attack a normal cell.  Some health practitioners call this autoimmune disease.

Psychological Factors:

Many researchers assert that we all have cancer genes (oncogenes) in our body.  The reason why some get cancer but others don’t, is due to the way we handle stressors in our life.  After dealing with numerous cancer clients, I have found that there is symbolic meaning in each type of cancer.  For example, women who have breast cancer are usually givers or care-takers.  They had been busy giving love and care to others but had not received the nurturing they needed.  In some cases, they craved love and nurturing but did not get it because their husbands had extramarital affairs.  Another example is that when a woman has uterine cancer, usually she has unfinished issues regarding sexuality such as sexual molestation or rape.  A person who has throat or thyroid cancer usually has unexpressed rage.

In the next article, I will discuss natural remedies for cancer.  Stay tuned!

According to the western medical establishment, the cause of cancer is unknown. Some researchers assert that we all have cancer genes (oncogenes) in our body.  The reason why some people get cancer but others don’t is due to the way we handle stressors in our life.

After dealing with numerous cancer clients in the past three decades, I have found that there is symbolic meaning in each type of cancer.  For example, women who have breast cancer are usually givers or care-takers.  Breasts symbolize love and nurturing.  They had been busy giving love and care to others but had not received the nurturing they themselves needed.

As I indicated in previous articles, poor dietary habits such as the Standard American Diet (SAD) that is loaded with sugar, dairy, wheat, yeasts, caffeine, alcohol, and chemicals create an incubator for cancer cells to ferment.   Psychological stress, either chronic or acute, weakens the immunity, and facilitates this fermentation process. Therefore, the best way to treat or prevent cancer is to deal with the body and mind simultaneously.

Cancer is a life-threatening illness and an extremely traumatic experience.  You can allow the illness to consume you or you can take the bull by the horns and fight back!  Many people are able to exercise their informed freedom of choice and are able to create a “permanent remission.” If you refuse to see cancer as a permanent sentence, but instead see it as a new beginning, chances are you can win the battle and claim victory.

Dr. Bernie Siegel, in his book, Peace, Love & Healing (1989), advocates “self-induced healing.” He believes that feelings are natural chemicals that can heal or kill.  As a medical doctor, he chooses to help his cancer patients use these natural chemicals to cure and heal themselves.  “Anything that offers hope has the potential to heal, including thoughts, suggestions, symbols and placebos.” As a result of this firm belief, he has helped countless cancer patients create miracle cures!

The late Norman Cousins, in his book, Anatomy of an Illness (1985), suggested that if you have a highly developed purpose, a strong will to live and a creative way of living, you will have a potent healing force!  By exercising this healing force, together with laughter, courage and tenacity, he successfully fought against a crippling disease and increased his longevity.

In my book, Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healing, I offer a few tools for you to effectively manage stress.  They include: meditation, affirmation, prayers, releasing negative emotions, and writing letters in a proper format to finish “unfinished business”.  Both hard-copy and e-books are available.  Please visit: www.drjsbest.com.

Cancer claims more than half a million lives every year. The cost of “treating” cancer patients in the United States alone is over 100 billion dollars a year.  In the past 100 years, cancer research has not made much progress in treating cancer successfully.

Causes of Cancer:

Many factors have been associated with cancer.  Tobacco, alcohol, pollution, an unhealthy work environment, food additives, pesticides, drugs, dietary habits and emotional stress have been cited as the most common factors causing cancer.  Based on my more than three decades of clinical experience, I have found that yeast and parasitic infections have been closely associated with cancer.  Yeast and parasitic infections can be labeled as the root of all evils so far as physical health is concerned, with psychological factors being at the core of these roots.  My treatment strategy is to deal with the physical and psychological issues simultaneously.

Holistic Treatment for Cancer:

Some clients chose not to have any invasive treatment methods, while others chose to have surgery and/or chemotherapy, and/or radiotherapy.  I have worked with clients at different stages of cancer with or without Western treatment modalities.

From a physical perspective, ALL cancer clients experience yeast fermentation in the body.  When the body cells are fermented, they turn into cancer cells.  This has been documented by Dr. Otto Warburg, a Nobel Prize winner in 1931 and Dr. Gaston Naessens, a Canadian biologist.  Since yeasts and parasites are like Siamese Twins, they go hand in hand.  So, both yeast and parasitic infections are present in the cancer condition.  Therefore, I give my clients our Herbal Detox formulas: Yeast-Para Control and Cleansing-Balance TeaYeast-Para Control is designed to remove excess yeasts, parasites, and toxins.  Cleansing-Balance Tea is designed to flush the “debris” and cleanse the liver and kidneys.  Female Vitality or Male Vitality is very helpful when cancer clients are going through chemotherapy or radiotherapy and experience fatigue.  Herbal Cocktail is great for nourishment or combating nausea due to the side effects of chemo or radiotherapy.

Many Chinese or Western herbal ingredients can be helpful in building the immune system.  However, single ingredients are too weak to restore a cancer client’s health.  I usually have more than 20 ingredients in each of my formulas.  They work to enhance each other’s main positive effects and eliminate the possible side effects.  Our “Seven Herbal Wonders” have been available to my clients for 15 years (and still counting), and have helped countless clients build up their immune system.

In addition to the Herbal Detox program, I also guide my clients (especially cancer clients) to stay on the yeast-free nutritional program containing no sugar, no dairy, no wheat, no yeasts, no caffeine, no alcohol, no nicotine, nor chemicals (Dr. J’s Eight Commandments).  The Herbal Detox program works to cleanse existing toxins, while the yeast-free nutritional program works to prevent the creation of new toxins in the body.   My yeast-free cookbook, Healthy and Tasty: Dr. J’s Anti-Yeast Cooking helps my clients learn more about what to eat and what to avoid.

From a psychological perspective, different types of cancer have different symbolic meanings.  For example, breasts symbolize love and nurturing.  People with breast cancer usually perceive that they don’t get the love and approval they desire.  Therefore, my approach is to guide my clients to release negative emotions such as anger, resentment, fear, guilt and regret, and to learn to love themselves.  I offer my clients many tools to accomplish this.  They include spiritual psychological counseling, the Emotional Releasing Technique, self-hypnosis, meditation, prayers, affirmations, guided imagery, etc.  You can find more details in my book, Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healing.

After more than 30 years of clinical experience dealing with all kinds of illnesses, including cancer, I have learned that as a helping professional, I am not here to save everybody’s life.   I am just here to help my clients live or die more comfortably.  Each person has his or her life journey to travel. My role is to offer a helping hand in making my client’s life journey easier.

Based on my more than three decades of clinical experience, I have found that all physical illnesses are reflections of mental states. No exceptions!

For example, when people have allergies, they are allergic to life; when people have head colds, they experience confusion in their lives; when women have breast cancer, they feel unloved and unapproved; when people suffer from injuries due to accidents, often times they want rest and attention, the list goes on….  So, treating physical symptoms is not the only way to eradicate illnesses, you need to get your hands dirty to dig out the roots!

The most effective way for uprooting the illnesses is using a holistic approach including yeast-free nutrition, herbal therapy, stress management, and spiritual counseling.   For more information, visit www.drjsbest.com.  I also provide consultation via telephone or Skype.  For appointment, call (800) 715-3053 or e-mail: drj@drjsbest.com.

Healthy regards,

Dr. J
