Q.  I always have pains in my breast starting about two weeks before my monthly cycle.  Can you tell me why?

 

A.  It seems that you have been experiencing PMS (Pre-Menstrual Syndrome).  PMS usually starts about 10 days before your period.  During that time period, your hormones change.  For example, your estrogen increases.  Your blood volume increases due to the estrogen increase.  Increased blood volume also increases blood sugar that feeds the yeasts and parasites in your body. When your little enemies are well fed, they ferment and release gas that give you pain.  Another reason is that increased blood volume makes your breast gorge and tender to touch.

The solutions include:
