As I mentioned before, yeast and parasitic infections are “the root of all evil” so far as physical health is concerned.  Your little enemies – yeasts and parasites – can create symptoms from head to toe including hypoglycemia.

When yeasts and parasites thrive in your body, they hook onto our mucous membranes and suck on your nutrition.  In other words, they eat you away.  Since you are feeding an “extended family,” you get hungry easily, and thus experience hypoglycemia: low blood sugar!  When your blood sugar is low, your enemies would scream, “Feed me! Feed me!” If you give into your cravings, you would feed them with food loaded with refined sugars.  Thus the sugar craving or hypoglycemic cycle continues.

Hypoglycemia is treatable!  You just need to control the overgrowth of yeasts and parasites.  How do you accomplish this seemingly impossible mission?  The following are some time-tested methods:

  1. Yeast-Free Nutritional Program:

A nutritional program containing no refined sugar, no dairy, no wheat, no yeasts, no alcohol, nor caffeine will starve the yeasts and parasites and nourish your body.   Nicotine from cigarettes is also a favorite food for yeasts and parasites.  Chemicals such as food preservatives, sweeteners, medication, etc. clog your liver and kidneys and deplete your immunity.  Your body’s defense is thus weakened.  This is why it’s important to stick to “Dr. J’s Eight Commandments” as a lifestyle.  Follow the principles of yeast-free cooking in my cookbook, Healthy and Tasty: Dr. J’s Anti-Yeast Cooking, to learn what food you should eat to nourish your body and starve yeasts and parasites.

  1. Herbal Therapy:

As mentioned in the previous article, Herbal Cocktailand Cleansing-Balance Teacan carry you over for two hours if you experience hypoglycemia and have nothing healthy to eat.  I also highly recommend Yeast-Para Control.  Many of my clients call this formula “king of herbs.”  Within days, you will see evidence in your toilet such as 1) debris of yeasts such as mucousy or cloudy urine; 2) Eggs of parasites such as broken corn-like, seed-like items or white specks in the stool, and 3) defeated bodies of worms, etc.   Although completely unappealing, you should be happy because your little enemies are out of your body!

  1. Regular Exercise:

Yeasts and parasites love a still environment.  Good blood circulation inhibits their growth.  Regular exercise reduces the overgrowth of yeasts and parasites as well as your hypoglycemic episodes.  If you experience fatigue easily, just start with low-impact exercises such as slow walking for 10 minutes, and slowly build up.

  1. Plan Your Day Well:

Prepare healthy snacks throughout the day to prevent “low blood sugar attacks.”  In a previous article I recommended four kinds of fruits that are helpful to prevent hypoglycemia: yellow bananas, Fuji apples, green pears, and papayas.  A favorite snack of mine is spreading sunflower butter or almond butter on celery sticks.  It’s very filling and delicious!  Alternatively, you can bake no sugar-no dairy-no wheat-no yeast muffins, cookies, brownies, etc. based on my cookbook, Healthy and Tasty: Dr. J’s Anti-Yeast Cooking.

Q.        What kinds of fruits can I have for hypoglycemia if I want to stick to yeast-free nutritional program?

A.         There are four kinds of fruits I would recommend if you want to feed your body and not your little enemies (yeasts and parasites): bananas, Fuji apples, pears, and papayas.

Bananas – Eat the banana when it just turns yellow.  Don’t wait until it’s brown and sugary.

Fuji Apples – Fuji apples have less acidity than other fruits.  Furthermore,  yeasts and parasites tend not to like apples.

Pears – Green pears have less fructose than brown pears, so go for the green ones.

Papayas – Mexican papayas tend to be larger – have just one slice per serving.  With Hawaiian papayas, you should be able to have one half each time.

Even though theses four kinds of fruits are recommended, you should have no more than two pieces in a day.  Portion control is important even with the right kinds of food.  Too much fructose will turn into sugar and feed yeasts and parasites in your body.

If you have a tendency to be hypoglycemic, I would recommend Herbal Cocktailand Cleansing-Balance Tea.  One scoop of Herbal Cocktailin a cup of Cleansing-Balance Teacan carry you over for two hours if you don’t have anything healthy to eat.

For more information about what to eat and what to avoid, follow my yeast-free cookbook, Healthy and Tasty: Dr. J’s Anti-Yeast Cooking.

Q.        I am taking oral medication for Type 2 diabetes.  I would like to be off medication if I could.  I would also like to lose 50 pounds.  What should I do?

A.        Type 2 (adult-onset) diabetes can be controlled by a lifestyle change.  I am glad that you want to lose weight.  As I indicated in a previous article, fat cells are not as effective as muscle cells in utilizing insulin to burn and turn sugar into cellular fuel.  Losing excess weight (fat) and exercising regularly will strengthen your muscle cells and help better utilize the blood sugar in your blood stream, and thus reduce your oral medication dependency.

Elevated blood sugar in your blood stream feeds your little enemies – yeasts and parasites – in your body.  This can create many complications.

Here are my recommendations for people who are committed to weaning themselves off oral medication for diabetes.

1)    Yeast-free nutrition

You need to adhere to a nutritional program that contains no sugar, no dairy, no wheat, no yeast, no caffeine, no alcohol, no nicotine, nor chemicals (my clients call this Dr. J’s Eight Commandments).  This nutritional program will feed your body and starve yeasts and parasites, so you can activate your body’s innate intelligence for healing.  To learn what to eat and what to avoid, follow my yeast-free cookbook, Healthy and Tasty: Dr. J’s Anti-Yeast Cooking.

2)    Exercise Daily

Any kind of exercises that you like or suit your energy level would help.  Slow walking 30 minutes a day is a good start.  Exercise burns calories and turns blood sugar into energy for you.  Thus, you will need less oral medication to bring the blood sugar level down.

3)    Herbal Therapy

In order for you to lose weight effectively, you need to remove physical toxins first.  Our Herbal Detox: Yeast-Para Controland Cleansing-Balance Teaworks wonders to remove your toxic waste.  The Weight Management program (containing Herbal Cocktail, Fitness Regularand Fitness Plus) is also very important for you.  Herbal Cocktail will curb your appetite and stop your sugar craving.  Fitness Regular (a fat blocker) will prevent the fats in your food to form fatty cells (provided that you eat sensibly).  Fitness Regular is also designed to facilitate your blood circulation and balance your blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol.  Fitness Plus(a fat burner) will burn the existing fat in your body and turn it onto energy.  If you combine the Herbal Detoxand Weight Management programs, you can expect to lose an average of two to three pounds a week in a healthy and safe way.

Most diabetics experience low overall energy and sexual energy due to insufficient use of blood sugar for energy, as well as due to the onset of yeasts and parasitic infections.  If that’s the case for you, Male Vitality (or Female Vitality for females) would be a good consideration to increase your energy level.

After you reach your ideal weight, you can be continue on the maintenance dosage to stay healthy. In the process of doing so, your body will tell you how much medication you need to keep the blood sugar level down.  You may adjust the amount of medication according to your blood sugar tests.  Usually my clients work with me closely to monitor the medication amount in the beginning, until they have learned how to listen to their bodily functions and adjust the dosage on their own.

4)    Remove Mental Toxins

Based on my more than three decades of clinical experience working with people from all walks of life, I have found that people with diabetes usually have some kind of “regret” in their lives.  When they are willing to do some “dirty work” to dig out the roots, their results are profound and long lasting.  I would highly recommend psychological and spiritual counseling.  Otherwise, read my book, Breaking the Yeast Curse: Food and Unconditional Love for Magic Healing.  You will learn some techniques to release negative emotions and better manage stress.

Some of my clients were able to wean themselves completely off the oral medication for diabetes.  It depends on how committed you are to the holistic treatment and a total lifestyle change.  You need to be willing to remove both physical and mental toxins.  As a helping professional, I am here to offer you the best possible knowledge, skills, and products to gain vibrant health.  However, you are the one who needs to travel the journey.

According to the statistics, more than 80 percent of diabetics who are diagnosed each year have at least one family member with the disease.   However, most adult onset (Type 2) diabetics are diagnosed when people are over 40 and overweight.

Based on my more than three decades of clinical experiences and observation, diabetes that appears to be hereditary is actually a learned behavior.  People diagnosed with diabetes tend to copy the same dietary habit, mental attitude, and lifestyle from those of their parents who had diabetes.  When they break the cycle and adopt a healthier lifestyle, the so called “genes” no longer have effects on them.

The following is a good example:

Kathy was 45 years old and 60 pounds overweight when she came to my office.  Both of her parents had their legs amputated and died from complications of diabetes.  She was worried about getting diabetes and dying from it like her parents.  Because her diet mainly consisted of fatty and sugary foods in addition to her being overweight, I put her on our Herbal Detox (Yeast-Para Control and Cleansing-Balance Tea) as well as  Weight Management (Herbal Cocktail, Fitness Regularand Fitness Plus) programs.  She was also on our yeast-free nutritional program containing no sugar, no dairy, no wheat, no yeasts, no caffeine, no alcohol, nor chemicals.  She also walked daily for 30 to 60 minutes.

She was guided to write numerous letters to release her negative emotions toward her parents and siblings.  All of these actions were a drastic life-change for her.  However, she made up her mind that she did not want to die young miserably.  She stuck to the holistic program stringently until she lost 60 pounds (in about 7 months).  After that, she stayed on the maintenance program of the herbal products, and kept the healthier lifestyle.

More than 15 years had gone by since I first saw Kathy, and she has never developed diabetes.  Her contention is now, “So what if I had diabetic genes?!  I control them, instead of allowing them to control me!”
